About PPI Polandia (Indonesia Student Association)
PPI Polandia (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia) or Indonesian Student Association in Poland is one of the oldest Indonesia student organisation overseas. Established in 1957 which lead by Soegijanto, one of the students who did an exchange program. Due to the limitation of a student from Indonesia who study in Poland, there is a losing generation in this organisation. In 2010, students from Indonesia who studied in Poland increasing gradually. Some of them initiate to work up this organisation with simple structure of the organisation. At 21 March 2015, There was a new history for PPI Polandia. Some of the students and Indonesia societies meet in Warsaw to create a formal structure of the organisation. At 11 April 2015 held the first congress and take up drafting, creating guidance of the organisation. Moreover, PPI Polandia legally became part of Overseas Indonesian Students Association Alliance (OISAA) with letter number 10/SK/Presedium/PPI-Dunia/IV/2015 about membership OISAA.
