About Pradorey Winery & Vineyards

Pradorey Winery & Vineyards is a family business that takes care of and pampers all the details of the production process in all its wines. Both the winery and the vineyards are located in the highest quality area of Ribera del Duero, on a land that belonged to Queen Isabella of Castille, therefore this is the most important historical estate in the area. At Pradorey we have been making quality wines since 1996, the year in which we launched our first vintage under Pradorey brand. Since then we have sought the excellence in our wines and for achieving this, the team’s innovative and daring attitude have played a fundamental role: we were the first to make a “Roble” category wine, to make a pale rosé in Ribera del Duero (Lía de Pradorey) , in producing a white wine out of red tempranillo grapes (El Cuentista), in using the boreal system in Rueda or in making a wine in ancient earthenware amphorae (El Buen Alfarero). Our latest project, El Retablo, places us as the first winery to make a red wine using the Criaderas y Soleras (Sherry wine) method. At Pradorey, we defend the highest quality of our wines with a clear commitment to sustainability and care for the environment: We are certified with food safety regulations such as IFS and BRC. We do organic farming. We supply ourselves with electricity through a hydroelectric dam and a solar garden. We have livestock that help us to generate natural fertilizer for all our crops. We recycle all the waste that we generate from our raw materials and we have reduced the consumption of propane and collaborated in the reduction of our carbon footprint with more sustainable product policies.
