About Prairie Mental Health Services

Prairie Mental Health Services offers unique, community based psychiatric and mental health services to the residents of West Central Missouri. Prairie Mental Health Services is locally owned by Bruce Fletcher, RN, APRN, BS, BSN, MN, PMHNP-BC, a board certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Our services are based on two important fundamental concepts. The first, collaborative relationships between the patient and the mental health provider produce the best clinical outcomes; and the second, the wide panorama of human suffering does not yield easily to simple solutions. Prairie Mental Health Services offers professional services to children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. These services are provided to those individuals, couples and families experiencing emotional and behavioral problems, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life circumstances, adjusting to medical problems or diagnoses, traumatic experiences, a divorce, substance abuse, issues involving death and dying.
