About Praxis Housing Initiativies, Inc
Praxis Housing Initiatives is NYC’s largest provider of transitional housing to homeless people with HIV/AIDS and is one of city’s lowest cost/highest service housing providers. Through our transitional program, we house nearly 400 people and night and approximately 1,200 individuals with HIV/AIDS each year. Warren Residence: Opened May 2014, offers Permanent Supportive Housing to formerly homeless individuals/families (without children) that meet NY/NY III criteria. Loring Place: Open August 2017, offers 50 studio apartments allocated for Permanent Supportive Housing for formerly homeless individuals that meet NY/NY III. 15 units aare allocated as community based affordable housing. Broadway Family Plaza: Open October 2017, offers 83 apartments for homeless families.
