The PreContactTool (PCT) is a Chrome Extension that gives you contact details about a LinkedIn profile with one click. That gives you the opportunity to get in direct contact with candidates and prospects. It has been developed out of frustration of not getting in contact with the top candidates. It is based in recruitment but we also have clients who use it for sales purposes. The PreContactTool always uses five different sources, this will give more results. What one source does not find the other will: phone numbers and email addresses. It saves time because it searches in at least five sources with one click instead of five. The PreContactTool delivers with great accuracy, by combining information from multiple sources and filtering the results. Double results will be removed and we also remove old email addresses. If the domain of a found email looks similar to the name of the previous employer it will not be shown. And we will show them in order of quality: Mobile numbers first in green and then land lines in orange. For the US and Canada the landlines where the area of the LinkedIn profile matches the area in the phone number will also be shown in orange. Red numbers have the lowest probability but still could met right. Sometimes we find multiple mobile numbers. How can you check the number? The Phone symbol on the right is the indication that it is mobile. Click on it and it opens the number in WhatsApp for Desktop. The neat trick is that you can compare the picture on LinkedIn with the WhatsApp picture. If it is similar then it is the right person. Are the numbers always right? No, not always, but often. The most reliable statistics we have is form our clients. One client of ours has tested the PreContactTool and he found that 67% of the phone numbers were correct. He tested 430 profiles and phoned 353 people. From 288 profiles the numbers were correct. That is 67% and value for money!
