The boutique style of PREFACE provides a curated selection of exhibitors, offering attendees an inspirational and personal experience. PREFACE launched in 2018 with the goal of building relationships and creating a space to inspire the fashion community in a new way. Gathering a small group of like-minded makers & suppliers with a focus on sustainability innovation was integral to the idea. As the name suggests, PREFACE is about the beginning — a place to find the best materials needed to begin your design story. The show offers suppliers & makers, conversations with industry innovators, an interactive forum featuring color & trend direction, and the space to meet and connect with others. PREFACE presents two shows per year, one in Los Angeles and one in New York.
