About PREMCO

PREMCO is an established motor service and repair company that has served the NY-NJ-CT area since 1917. Under our original charter as the Post Road Electric Motor Company, we provided custom repairs of small motors, appliances and related items of equipment typically found in homes and small businesses. Under the PREMCO, Inc. banner since 1993, we are now a much more diversified service and sales company capable of repairing or replacing the full range of electric motors, pumps and fans for commercial enterprises. Our New Rochelle, NY facility is vertically integrated with over 16,500 sq. ft. of manufacturing space equipped with overhead crane and specialized machine tools including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, winders, test equipment, ovens, V.P.I. systems, welding machines, CNC machines, and dynamic balancing equipment. In our machine shops we perform custom machine shop work for unique client needs, including repair parts and accessories for even discontinued and out-of-production machinery. Our capabilities also include Thermography, Dynamic Balancing and Load Testing. PREMCO is a member of EASA (Electrical Apparatus Service Association) and is ISO 9001 certified, as well. The President and Owner, Mr. Harold Jacobs, is Westinghouse trained with over 30 years of experience directing PREMCO.
