About Premier Pulmonary Services

Premier Pulmonary Services is a Lung Health Clinic in Salem, Oregon. Founded by a Respiratory Therapist who recognized the need for individualized, patient focused care for our community members living with lung disease and sleep disorders. Our staff all share in the vision and goal to improve the lives of our community members who may be struggling to cope with their recent diagnosis or adapt to living with newfound limitations imposed upon them by their disease process. Our staff of Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapists have certifications in Pulmonary Disease Management and Sleep Medicine. With a combined experience of over 70 years, these therapists are well qualified to provide exceptional and individualized care to all patients living with lung disease. Our Medical Director, Dr. James Parosa, is an accomplished pulmonologist in Salem, Oregon. Born and raised in the Northwest, Dr. Parosa did undergraduate work at the University of Oregon and Graduated from OHSU in 1974. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, and Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Parosa first received board certification in Internal Medicine in 1977 and Pulmonary Medicine in 1991. He returned to Salem, Oregon in 1979, where he has practiced ever since. Dr. Parosa is a founding member of Salem Pulmonary Associates.
