About Presbyterian Support South Canterbury

Presbyterian Support South Canterbury provide clients with a unique combination of social services and programmes through our Family Works Service on North Street in Timaru. We also have a long history of supporting those who are ageing or have a health and disability issue to live their best lives through our Enliven service. With around 460 staff PSSC deliver our services throughout South Canterbury from The Croft and Margaret Wilson Homes in Timaru, Wallingford Home in Temuka, Community Services, Family Works, Refugee Settlement Services and Te Pokapu (The Hub). As a charity PSSC have provided services for the South Canterbury community for over 100 years starting at Park Lane within our Homestead Heritage Building in 1918 providing care for the elderly. We are the largest provider of aged care and retirement options in South Canterbury which also include specialist dementia care within our community. Family Works staff provide a range of services that help the people in our community work through challenging issues to become stronger individuals and families. Our Refugee Settlement Services provide settlement support to new settled former refugees linking them with community support and services so they are best able to integrate into the South Canterbury community. We have been actively involved in your community, making a difference to others for 106 years. We are 'People Helping People'.
