About Preschem
Preschem was founded by Chen-Woo Chin and Chris McEvoy, both former CSIRO scientists who have 30 years combined scientific, technical and industrial experience in the field of wood preservation. They have published numerous technical papers in Australia and overseas on the subject. The objectives of the company are to develop, manufacture and sell quality products for the remedial wood preservatives and clear timber finishes markets. Since 1989 Preschem has become the largest manufacturer of remedial wood preservatives in Australia. Preschem is also known in the market as being able to provide excellent products and service. Preschems commercial remedial wood preservatives are Polesaver Rods and Bioguard, which are widely used by government authorities such as Electricity, Railways and Telecommunication authorities. Preschem has also developed a range of clear timber finishes such as Aussie Clear and Exterior Pine Clear to protect and enhance the natural qualities of timber. Preschem has offices in Australia, South African and Brazil.
