Next seminar series: Starting January 2022: small-sized weekend seminar series: "Powerful Presentations in English: from the rough draft to the final version* For non-native English-speaking business professionals facing the challenge of holding professional presentations in English. Whether you are simply looking to polish your skills, or are somewhere on a scale between feeling “slightly uneasy” to “completely overwhelmed” at the prospect of presenting in English, this series is for you: Over the course of two days, English instructor, Patricia Stephenson and moderating coach, Peter Agathakis will guide you personally through the entire revision process, from the rough draft to the final version of your presentation. During this process, you will also be developing the skills you need to present with eloquence, confidence and ease: We begin by correcting common grammar errors, inaccurate vocabulary and structural mistakes. By the end of the seminar, you will also know: how to open your talk and how to end it, how to create the stories that connect with your audience, and how to make every word count. You will be able to use your voice as an instrument of emphasis and have a feel for effective body language. You will have developed your own, authentic style of presenting in the English language. But most important of all, you will leave feeling confident, knowing you have the final version of your presentation “in the bag”, prepared and ready to go.
