PRODUCTION OF MEDICAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND CLOTHING FOR BEAUTICIANS AND WELLNESS CENTERS The PRETAFINIR small clothing business was established in 1998 for daily clothing for the purpose of selling in stores in Zagreb and Croatia. The founder of business is Ljerka Zmaić, B.Sc. in Chemical Technology. In that time an idea was born to design and manufacture work clothing for particular professions such as doctors, dentists, cosmeticians and hairdressers, as well as other professions for which, up to that point, no systematic manufacture of such clothing existed in one location. The intention was to supply a market in making - the establishment of private clinics and polyclinics that invested significant founds into new technologies and devices, as well as to respond to designer needs of architects. This is where PRETAFINIR recognized its niche and a way to open a new aspect of the market by offering designer work clothing. The basics characteristics of this line of clothing are innovations in the cuts when compared to clothing familiar to the Croatian population up to that point - asymmetry, a futuristic look, new color rarely used in the manufacture of work clothing. Our intention is to expand this manufacturing technology of daily, work and leisure clothing for man and woman by operating under the basic principles of energy saving and high criteria in aesthetics, as well as quality of materials and manufacture. We have also quickly realized the possibility of saving energy by using existing cuts and identical parts of these cuts in different pieces and category (daily, work and leisure) of clothing, with which we have contributed to the idea of sustainable development.
