About Pretty In Pink Foundation

Pretty In Pink Foundation was founded in 2004 by Dr. Lisa Tolnitch, a leading breast cancer surgeon in Raleigh. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to uninsured and under-insured North Carolina breast cancer patients for medical treatment including surgery, chemotherapy administration, radiation therapy, office co-pays and COBRA. Pretty In Pink Foundation believes that everyone diagnosed with breast cancer is entitled to quality, life-saving medical care. In addition, Pretty In Pink Foundation offers quality of life and support services that extend beyond medical expenses to make fighting the breast cancer battle more manageable. What began with assistance for ten women in Wake County has evolved into helping women and men throughout North Carolina. Pretty In Pink Foundation is a not for profit 501(c)(3) and all monies raised come from grants, corporate sponsors, businesses, third party events and individual donations.
