About Pride Dry Cleaning & Laundry
Pride Dry Cleaning and Laundry is the latest incarnation of the dry-cleaning business that once operated in Islington in 1942. After discovering a need for a dry cleaner that offers more than simple washing services, Pride Dry Cleaning was established by Phil and Jennie Lyons in 2010. Since then Pride has grown into a proud Hunter business, providing dry cleaning services that go above and beyond for the community. Pride Dry Cleaning are unique to the region as we are the only Hunter dry cleaning business who offers FREE delivery/pick-up across the Hunter. We are also the only registered NDIS cleaner in the region. We became a registered NDIS cleaner after Phil became wheelchair bound during his cancer battle. It helped us to learn more about disability support and changed our services to account for people with disabilities. When the NDIS began, we registered immediately and are proud to help our region in this way. Our RedBox system was introduced after Phil and Jennie attended a trade show and saw how well it worked. They thought about the Novocastrian lifestyle; how people are busy and like the luxury of not having to worry about laundry and day to day tasks. RedBox allows 24/7 access so you can go to dinner, see a band or go to the beach and collect the cleaning on the way home Our approach to dry cleaning makes you, the customer, our first priority. But, we also ensure our service doesn’t come at the cost of our precious planet. We’re a partner of Plastic Police, and encourage our customers to return plastics to us for recycling. Plus, we edeavour to use the best available eco-friendly and sustainable cleaning solutions. Pride Dry Cleaning are here for all of your garment cleaning – shoes, wedding dresses, everyday attire and anything in between! We understand how to care for your clothes when we clean them. Even the smallest piece of clothing is important to us, and we take pride in looking after your garments!
