About PRIMARIUS

Primarius is a cloud application for a successful patient recovery at home. We assist insurances, clinics and doctors to optimise their services towards patients needs. The patients connect to our internet guidance service immediately after discharge from the clinic which is the time when they are the most motivated. We provide them with authorised information for recovery and rehabilitation using short videos from their doctors and educated peer patients. We use simple and motivational content format and a voucher to deliver personal code upon discharge. Our service integrates well into clinical work flow, relieves doctors of repetitive work, solves the problem that patients forget up to 85% of instructions given in the hospital and acts as family specific prevention. It is well known that education of chronical patients and their social environment greatly decreases the costs of life-long treatment. Direct medical costs are reduced when infarction patient has received education. At present we are running a clinical trial in Hartcentrum Hasselt, Belgium. It will confirm that our format provides high ratio between delivered education and costs of content development. This will enable us to offer insurances and clinics cost benefit education service at no additional burden for medical team. In addition we will establish internet contact with patients to serve their needs as chronical patients and provide marketing advantage for insurances, clinics and doctors.
