About Primavera Gallery
Our mission is to protect and foster British heritage traditional Art and Craft. Situated in the heart of Cambridge, Primavera is the UK's foremost independent art gallery in a two-storey Grade II listed building facing King's College. We house a wide range of British contemporary collections including paintings, ceramics, jewellery, glass, sculpture and textiles. Established in 1945, our aim is to display and contrast British artists' work in an engaging and accessible way so that each piece can be fully appreciated. Visitors have the opportunity to touch, feel and interact with the artwork within the setting of an exquisite and historic location. Primavera represents many artists local to Cambridge including the Cambridge Jeweller’s Guild. We also continue a 70 year history of exhibiting the highest quality of ceramics in Cambridge as well as the most eclectic glass art in the region.
