About Prime Commercial Farms
Prime Commercial Farms (PCF) is investing in a new Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) farm. the farm would incorporate trees and use solar energy for it operations. The project will result in the creation of jobs within the poor communities and prioritize opportunities and training for disadvantaged sections of the community. It also takes into consideration the broader impact on these communities and will result in approximately 2,000 people benefiting directly and indirectly. Food security will also be improved for the people as a result of the production of higher quality crops that are less vulnerable to climate-related risks and shocks locally. The afforestation component of this expansion project will not only ensure that jobs are created but also contribute to the reduction of GHGs by absorbing 487 tonnes of CO2/year. In addition, a 40kw solar power plant will be installed on site. We would organize routine training for women and youths on Climate-Smart Agriculture technics as well as on the use of modern mechanised farm equipment. currently seeking additional investors.
