About Primera Group

Primera is proudly locally owned by friends and business partners, Gary White and Harrison Horne. What began as a shared passion for the trades has grown into a full-service company built on hard work, trust, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Harrison, a Red Seal Electrician, was born and raised on Vancouver Island. Gary, a Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic and Gas B Fitter, is Métis and brings his Indigenous roots and perspective into the business. In early 2024, Gary joined Harrison at Primera Electrical to launch Primera Mechanical, expanding our ability to provide comprehensive solutions for homes and businesses across the Island. At Primera, our values guide everything we do: quality workmanship, dependable service, and a strong workplace culture where people come first. But it goes beyond the job site. Gary’s Métis heritage deepens our respect and connection to Indigenous communities, and we are proud to partner with and support local Nations whenever possible. Harrison lives with Type 1 diabetes, which gives us an even greater appreciation for the dedication of health care workers and the importance of supporting organizations that care for our community’s well-being.
