For Primex Printers, that wellspring of strength is experience. Its founder and President, Alberto Z. Calaquian, Sr. knows the business like the back of his hand. Back when multi-tasking was nary a corporate operative word, he was performing multi-functions, shifting from marketing to production to machine maintenance. Today, his wealth of experience, technical expertise and innate knowledge of printing machinery have become the company's formidable weapon in battling against the behemoths locally and international. Calaquian, Sr. is not one to rest on laurels. Fueled by his passion for new knowledge, he sent his son, alberto, Jr. to study a 2-course program at the Hauchler Studio in Biberach, Germany. Alberto Sr. and his wife, Milagros, the driving force behind the company's solid financial management, regularly attend various exhibitions abroad. Their children and their key people are kept abreast of current trends and developments through regular participation in seminars and exhibits here and abroad. In-house training programs are being conducted regularly by local and foreign printing experts for the prepress, press and postpress departments.
