About Princeton Geoscience

We are a consulting company specializing in the characterization and remediation of environmentally impaired sites. Jim Peterson, PG, LSRP, after ten years of consulting experience, founded PGI with the vision to create a company that could deliver truly appropriate, cost‐effective solutions while providing unparalleled client service. Our expertise in geology, environmental science, and consulting, often paired with our innovative line of Decision Support Services, provides our clients with multiple lines of evidence to ensure the best and most cost-effective outcome for their site. We also provide, since 2012, borehole geophysical logging services to our industry clients and to other consulting firms seeking to better understand and remediate complex subsurface conditions at their sites. Among the first to adopt the tools and technologies needed to get the most out of this line of evidence, we own and operate state-of-the-art equipment and are experts in log interpretation and project management. In 2020, we introduced our fully outfitted field logging unit, an innovation in this type of field investigation. Over the years, through a commitment to excellence in client advocacy, technical expertise, and sound project management, we have developed a reputation for value-added consulting.
