About Private Ear Recording

Established in 2007. A Winnipeg recording institution since 1994. Working with bands such as The Watchmen, The Guess Who, JD Edwards Band with former owners Neil and Lloyd. In 2007 Neil and John Paul re-located to the current location. Private Ear is now owned by John Paul and Vanessa Peters and was Incorporated in 2019. The last 10 years have featured John Paul working with bands such as: Propagandhi, Royal Canoe, Begonia, Mobina Galore, Cancer Bats, Carly Dow, Ken Mode, Matt Epp, Trampoline, The Boy and the Sea, The Rules, Roman Clarke, Yes we Mystic, Red Moon road, Sweet Alibi, Deep Dark Cave, Whitebeard and many many more!
