About Proactive Care (Manchester)

Our homes provide a natural setting for young people (mixed gender) aged between 11-17 years of age. We specialise in providing the best possible care for young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our properties are all in the Greater Manchester area, and have been adapted for use as children’s homes to make them as comfortable and friendly environments as possible. Our mission at Proactive Care is to give young people the support and the tools they need to achieve their goals later in life. We take great pride in knowing that once they do eventually leave us, we will have done our best to make sure they feel confident that they have made strides towards being whatever they want to be, to make a positive impact on their own destiny and those around them. This is what we work towards at Proactive Care. In order to achieve our mission, it is important to us at Proactive Care to provide our young people with the freedom to have an input into their care. We want them to be engaged, make choices and have the responsibility to make informed decisions on what happens in their daily lives. Our approach to their care is always aimed towards achieving that goal, to make the home a nice environment both for the staff to work in, and the young people to live.
