Fresh, delicious produce is our passion. In fact, it’s all we do. We pack a wide variety of only the freshest fruits and vegetables year-round for high.-end restaurants, value-conscious retail chains and everything in between. We believe every customer is unique, so all orders are customizable and flexible. From fresh-cuts and splits to last-minute orders and unique quantities, we can do it. We helped pioneer fresh-cuts for stores in 1996. We still excel in fresh-cuts, specializing in delivering the highest quality products on the shortest notice. In fact, our two fastest growing areas are both in fresh-cuts. The first is our single portion servings for schools, the second is purees for food manufacturers. Tomatoes are another mainstay for PPI, now one of the largest tomato packers in the area. In addition, we have been increasing our handling of both packaged and fresh-cut organics. We handle a wide variety of organics, packaged in recyclable and biodegradable materials. Included with every order is the remarkably consistent quality of both our products and service. That’s the way it’s been since 1994, when PPI started as a joint venture between the Sanson Company and Great Lakes Packers. Today, with over 150 employees, we’re building a healthy tradition of freshness, customization and virtually non-existent rejects.
