About ProFab Alliance

We do this through consulting, coaching, community, and franchising. The ProFab Alliance has been built upon a foundation dating back to 1902 and was created out of an aspiration to help other owner-operators within the metal fabrication and machining industries grow their business, maximize their profits, and live a more balanced life. The largest holding of our parent company, NCI, is Nix Industrial, a 5th generation family-owned and operated fabricator that has grown its business 100X in less than 20 years. It has been an INC 5000 fastest growing private companies in America for 7 consecutive years, and an Indiana’s Best Places to work for 3 of the last 5 years. Through 6 acquisitions and 4 start ups in the past 10 years, the leadership team at NCI have created proprietary business systems and processes that were developed through years of trial and error. In 2022, NCI launched ProFab Alliance to offer these systems, processes, and shared management services to others in the metal fabrication and machining industry. Although ProFab shares common ownership with Nix, our operations are run independently, with a dedicated leadership team and separate offices.
