History To better reflect the community that they serve, Capital Real Estate became Hutt City Limited in the first year of the new millennium. It has been 25 years since Capital Real Estate first began in a Kelburn house. John Ross joined Capital Real Estate in 1981, opening the Lower Hutt branch in 1982. After five years, John purchased the branch, and joined The Professionals marketing group in 1989. Since then John has continued to set the company on the path to 2020, this goal further advanced by the purchase of the Wainuiomata branch in 2007, and opening the Eastbourne Office in 2008. Due to their expanding market area, Hutt City Limited changed to Redcoats Limited in 2014.
