Proffcon (Pty) Ltd was formed by Mr Lawrence Fraser in 2017 on his retirement as a Member of ZAI Consultants CC having been an engineering employee for 31 years and a Director/Member for 21years. During this period, he was instrumental in establishing an ISO QMS, building the ZAI brand and transitioning the Firm to meet the challenges of an evolving commercial environment. Lawrence is a Corporate Member of the SAICE (12247) and is a registered professional engineer with ECSA (900285). Lawrence has in excess of 39 years’ experience in a wide range of civil engineering skills gained in both rural and urban context. He has expertise in the design, management, implementation and administration of projects in the industrial/commercial/residential and municipal spheres of the built environment. Our vision is to provide a highly professional, innovative and skilled consulting service that meets or exceeds our client’s expectations. Whilst Proffcon has targeted civil engineering and project management expertise, we also specialize in bringing together a team of like-minded professionals who have a solid working relationship of mutual respect, have extensive experience in their respective fields and a reputation for sound delivery of a variety of project types in the built environment. In terms of the Codes of Good Practice on Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment as published in The Government Gazette 41287 dated and effective 01st December 2017, Proffcon (Pty) Ltd falls within the category for Built Environment Professionals (BEP) and qualifies as an exempted Micro-Enterprise(EME). The company has aligned itself with the national objectives in order to achieve a Level TwoContributor status with a 125% B-BBEE Recognition Level.
