About Profor

Founded in 1971, with the purpose of supplying the national market with electrical protection products and work in tension, until that date nonexistent in Portugal. As a result of the success achieved in this first period, the company expands its activity to the industrial protection sector and later in signaling (1990s), opens delegations in Porto and Pombal, (2000) establishes a commercial network in Spain (2003). and in 2010 the process of manufacturing various products in Portugal begins. Nowadays PROFOR sells around 12,000 references distributed in 10 product families and has about 20 people in the frame, being one of the few companies in the field that keeps one person dedicated exclusively to the after sales service. We focus on product quality as a differentiating factor, but we have an economical range in products of a nature not vital to user safety.
