About Progressive Workshop of Armstrong County
The Progressive Workshop of Armstrong County is a non-profit organization located in Kittanning, Pennsylvania that provides vocational rehabilitation services to adults with disabilities. Founded in 1968, PWAC has reliably provided valuable, high-quality, and customizable services to its clients and trainees for decades while establishing trusted relationships with families and local businesses in the communities of Armstrong, Indiana, and Butler counties. Our mission is to provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment to enable individuals to develop skills and behaviors to become independent, employable, and integral members in their communities so they can achieve everyday lives with purpose and freedom of choice as they move toward jobs. We work toward that mission by providing our clients and trainees with various program offerings, including Supported Employment, Small Group Employment, Pre-Vocational Services, and Adult Education Services. We also provide a range of services to our community, including Progressive Lawn & Landscaping, Progressive Document Destruction, Progressive Commercial Cleaning, Progressive Production Services, and Progressive Wood Works.
