Project Assignments is a Cape Town based project engineering organisation possessing specialist skills in process design, multi-disciplined detailed engineering and single source project management services. Project Assignments developed from a chemical and food processing process design consultancy into a professional, multi-skilled project organisation with an accomplished track record of executing large projects for blue chip clients throughout South Africa and abroad. Within 5 years of inception, the company had already developed the in-house capability of executing individual projects in excess of R50 million on a single source responsibility (EPCM) basis. Projects well in excess of this magnitude are now the norm. Today, Project Assignments’ experienced in-house resources enable the full conceptual and detailed design functions for the following requirements to be engineered and coordinated under one roof:- - process development and chemical engineering - workflow analysis and plant layout design - process/production plant - mechanical services and pipework design - electrical HT, LT infrastructures and control engineering - building, civil and structural engineering - fresh water and process effluent treatment; - process/production automation and SCADA systems; - all procurement and contracts administration functions related to the above fields; - single point project engineering and full management capability throughout all phases of a project to client handover.
