NuTerra RDC in partnership with the Stemtac Foundation presents Project BEACON |Building Equity, Access, Capacity, Opportunity, and Networks SUSTAINABILITY:Powered by Community Project BEACON is a transformative initiative designed to empower communities through resilience, sustainability, and equal access to technology and education. Created by NuTerra RDC in collaboration with the Stemtac Foundation, Project BEACON focuses on addressing systemic barriers by building Resilience Hubs that serve as centers for community development, green job training, and STEM education. These hubs are designed to bridge the digital and technological divide, ensuring that all communities, particularly BIPOC, have access to the tools needed for long-term sustainability and resilience. Our History and Founding Project BEACON was created through a collaboration between NuTerra RDC and the Stemtac Foundation, bringing together expertise in emerging technologies and community resilience. The project is supported by the Scholar Fund, alongside a host of other organizations committed to advancing equity and sustainability. Together, these partners are working to build Resilience Hubs across multiple regions, providing the necessary infrastructure, education, and technology for community empowerment. Through these hubs, Project BEACON offers programs in STEM education, renewable energy, smart agriculture, and leadership development, fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators. By integrating cutting-edge technology with community-driven solutions, Project BEACON aims to create a sustainable and equitable future for all.
