Our Pathways to Action: Regenerate: Activate decentralised circular economies with thriving social enterprises that support food sovereignty, agroecology, ecological restoration, and grows resilience Rewild: Align human awareness towards the role of biodiversity in future thriving and the potential for transformative ecosystem restoration through an indigenous knowledge system framework Reconnect: Awaken the potential of humanity in appreciation for our role and responsibility within the web of life through catalytic experiences, curated events and living systems thinking Our Theory of Transformation: Over 6,000 years ago, the desert of North Africa was the most verdant savanna and grassland in the world, facilitating the regreening of 1/3 of the surface of the earth. Today, we see human behaviour accelerating desertification across the world. As the source of the 6th extinction that is now upon us, humanity has the opportunity to become a regenerative force within nature to create a new chapter for life on the planet, fueled by the atmospheric carbon reservoir we have mined from living soil and ancient oil reserves, capable of activating the largest explosion of life and biodiversity of all time. There are millions of organisations around the world working towards social and ecological justice, yet the crisis grows worse. Our Guiding Star is to serve as the connective tissue between these organisations within the global organism for human transformation towards a shared living vision of collective action. By regenerating decimated natural systems, rewilding impaired bioregions and reconnecting human cultures with nature, humanity can come into harmony with this natural cycle of regreening for a future of planetary thriving, and accelerate the biodiversification of Earth.
