About Project Kindy
Our Project Kindy Village fundraises to support the community-run kindergartens in rural Malawi with the help of our partners on the ground, the Canossian Daughters of Charity. 100% of donations received reach the children at the grassroot to fund $4/month kindy fees and infrastructure projects. We registered officially in 2016 and granted DGR status with the ATO in 2020. Children suffering extreme poverty are empowered to attend kindy where they receive a daily meal and early years education, which provide both short and long term support that is life-changing. Research clearly indicates that pre-school education gives the gift of “school readiness” which improves the standard of living for the individual children, their communities and the country.
