About Project Luminaire
Project Luminaire is a dynamic student-led overseas community service project (OCSP) initiated by the passionate students of Singapore Management University (SMU). With a mission to empower light-impoverished communities in the Philippines, we collaborate with Litre of Light to install solar-powered lights made from recycled bottles, bringing sustainable lighting solutions to those in need. Project Luminaire has been making a positive impact for over a decade. Our focus is two-fold: providing access to basic education and transforming lighting conditions. By harnessing solar energy and recycled bottles, we offer eco-friendly and cost-effective lighting solutions that bring hope and illumination. Our commitment goes beyond providing light; it is about empowering individuals and inspiring community-driven solutions. By creating well-lit learning spaces, we unlock the full potential of children and adults, paving the way for a brighter future. Join us on our journey as we continue to make a difference, one light at a time. Together, we can transform lives and build resilient communities through the innovative power of solar light and sustainable practices.
