About Project Moshen Dance Company

History of Project Moshen: Founded in 2010, Project Moshen Dance Company entertains audiences of all ages & backgrounds with contemporary shows that intrigue, excite & captivate the recreational dance viewer, along with the seasoned dancer. Founder & Philadelphia native Kelli Moshen (B.F.A. University of the Arts) uses her athletic, industry influenced, intricate, & up-tempo choreography to keep the audience on the edge of its seat at all times. Project Moshen wants to give its audience a unique experience while creating conversations around the message of women empowerment along with revelevent topics, issues & events. Also, Project Moshen Dance Company works to give back and remain a pillar in the Philadelphia dance community by: regularly hosting professional dance classes and teaching at local studios, universities (such as Villanova University & West Chester University), and all over the Philadelphia region. Project Moshen also provides a summer education program, CAMPS IN MOSHEN, where company dancers travel to teach dancers away from home. Project Moshen produces four shows a year, including its invitational performance series, Artistry Unfolded, along with its annual ovarian cancer benefit, EXCERPTS. Other ProMo credits include: Professional Festivals such as the Come Together Dance Festival produced by Koresh Dance Company, Dumbo Dance Festival, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, & APAP in NYC. Special events for the Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia Flower Show, Harley Davidson, and others. Charitable events for organizations such as the Morris Animal Refuge, The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, and the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. MISSION: Project Moshen, a female based performing arts organization is fully dedicated to empowering women through the art of dance and community outreach.
