About Project Privates
Hi there, we are Project Privates, a group of three Year 12 students from German Swiss International School who want to raise awareness and remove the stigma for various issues regarding men's health specifically, such as testicular cancer and prostate cancer. We organised a Movember Movement within our school and raised close to $10,000 HKD for the Movember Foundation and more importantly, raised awareness for these men’s health issues. In light of the COVID-19 epidemic affecting people across the world, we wanted to switch gears and find a way to help people in Hong Kong. We came across this article from the SCMP and realised how badly it was affecting people such as the elderly, the homeless, public sector cleaners etc. These groups of people may not be able to afford what we consider to be basic necessities at this time such as masks, hand sanitizer and food. This is why we partnered with the Christian Action organisation to raise over $18526 HKD for the underprivileged.
