About Project Promise- Virgin Islands

Project Promise is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization incorporated on January 24, 2014 under the laws of the United States Virgin Islands. We were founded to address the many challenges facing our youth. Due to failing schools, decreased opportunities, and an increase in at-risk behavior the need for positive support services is imperative at this time. The goal of the program is to identify those youth who are experiencing adolescent hardships and may have a rough transition into adulthood. Project Promise offers positive support services to avoid the stumbling blocks that can negatively impact their lives. Project Promise currently offers three programs for St. Croix at-risk youth. The programs are designed to encourage participants to lead happier and healthier lives. The ultimate goal is to positively integrate them into society and the economy. Our programs seek to reduce risky behaviors, teach participants how to make informed positive choices and tap into their full potential. We also offer educational experiences and recognition to the general student population.
