Project S.E.R.V.E. (formerly known as The Quality of Life Plus Program, or QL Plus) is a national nonprofit that was founded in 2009 to engineer personalized solutions for veterans and emergency responders, enhancing their quality of life. Many American patriots face ongoing challenges after their service. Whether injured in the line of duty or facing injuries or illnesses after their service, the lives of our veterans and emergency responders may be drastically altered. Simple tasks can become daily challenges, and the active lifestyle they once enjoyed may now be out of reach. These men and women sacrificed much for their country; now it’s our turn to give back. Project S.E.R.V.E. partners with leading universities across the country to give engineering students an opportunity to build real-world solutions for our nation’s bravest, at no cost. University students get real-world engineering experience by building solutions that impact real lives, and injured veterans and emergency responders get the support they need to overcome their lifestyle challenges. That’s a win-win. That’s Project S.E.R.V.E.
