Promar Engineering Pty. Ltd is a registered precision engineering and fabrication company based in Pretoria, South Africa. We specialise in sheet metal fabrication and provide custom engineering solutions to companies in various industries. General Information Promar Engineering was founded by Jason McWhinnie who for many years worked for a very successful precision engineering company. It is now being operated along with a staff complement of 15 who have a combined wealth of over 50 years’ experience and have the know-how and skill to supply reliable precision engineered products without hassles. We manufacture the most complex components in a single operation. Operating to high-quality standards in general engineering sectors, we offer the complete manufacture of all your components. Many of our projects are “one-off” and cover a wide range of products and parts. These projects normally require much more than just welding and fabrication. Promar Engineering can provide design and/or assist in aspects of the design process, on-site measurement and logistics, galvanising, powder coating & silk screening, transportation and more. We often handle projects from initial design to on-site delivery. Some of the materials machined include Carbon & Alloy Steel, Stainless Steels, Duplex, Titanium Alloys, Brass, Copper, and Aluminium. We have a passion for quality and accuracy and we are committed to providing products and services that meet or exceeds customer expectations, this in consideration of all requirements including product quality, delivery, documentation and communication. Promar offers a complete engineering package, offering a variety of services. We are able to produce 1 offs to drawing or sample for fledgling parts in the early stages of design and often offer our help and advice in this area as well.
