About Promising Pathways

Welcome to Promising Pathways! The Seamone family founded Promising Pathways in 2023 with a mission to break barriers to education and economic stability. Since then, we have awarded scholarships to students in the U.S. and Uganda. Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding our scholarships, launching low-cost career coaching for individuals with disabilities and single parents, and supporting other impactful educational and career programs worldwide. We started Promising Pathways to address poverty, inequality, disabilities, and the well-being of children and families. By helping students stay in school and earn their degrees, we empower them to build brighter futures for themselves and their loved ones. Research shows that earning postsecondary credentials leads to higher earnings, improved health and well-being, and positive benefits for dependent children as well. Furthermore, education also has a positive impact on society at large by reducing poverty rates and the need for public benefits, as well as increasing tax contributions and civic engagement.
