PRONING DHI is a private, Zagreb, Croatia, EU based, Ltd. company founded in 1990. as Proning and 1994. as Proning Dhi. Selected references in Climate changes and WRM include The Real Time Flood forecasting for rivers Sava, Drava, Danube and Adriatic river catchments in Croatia, Real Time Flood forecasting for rivers Vrbas, Una, Sana in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Flood risk and flood hazard maps for river Vrbas in Bosnia and Herzegovina, rivers Karašica- Vučica, Neretva river Flood management planning, and hydraulic study, River Neretva desalinization feasibility study. Proning participated in the cross-border project FRISCO-1 between Slovenia and Croatia responsible for building 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling for cross border river basins Bregana, Kupa and Drava (3 projects). We performed Feasibility study for improvement of the non-structural measures for the flood risk management in Croatia. Proning was Croatian focal point partner in the EU Blue-Green Dream – by Prof. Čedo Maksimović / Imperial College London, UK. Also, as one of the 35 partners from Europe, we participate in the HORIZON 2020 project RECONECT - Reduction of hydro-meteorological risks by applying the Natural Base Solution (NBS), with coordinator prof. Zoran Vojinović, IHE, The Netherlands. Proning was initial address for conducting EU Corona virus Sentinel systems for SARS CoV-2 in Croatia and BiH.
