Proper Active is on a mission to change the way people think and feel about being physically active. The benefits of an active lifestyle are well known but, to state the obvious, are only realised when people actually take part. For many people the idea of a traditional sporting environment brings them out in a cold sweat and physical activity is the domain of fitness fanatics and sports stars; not something for people like them. Proper Active is part of a growing movement that recognises the need for more welcoming environments that anyone can feel at home in, regardless of background or ability. There are amazing examples already out there and pockets of brilliance, but the quality of sporting experience shouldn't feel like a lottery. We want an amazing experience to be the norm for everyone and we are here to support brilliant organisations who understand this to make that a reality. We are experts in behaviour change and in working with less active and non-sporty participants. From strategic planning through to workforce training and development, Proper Active take a whole system approach that redefines the way we think about getting people active.
