Since 1997, Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (formerly Prostate Cancer Foundation BC) has been providing leadership and resources in prostate cancer support, awareness, and research. In 2020, Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (at the time, Prostate Cancer Foundation BC) expanded its support pillar to reach prostate cancer patients and their loved ones across Canada and now works with support groups and patients all over the country, from BC to PEI, to ensure that no matter where in Canada a person affected by prostate cancer lives, they are able to access equitable prostate cancer support. With a 5 person office, hundreds of volunteers, and a grassroots approach Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada does not receive government funding and relies solely on fundraisers and charitable donations to continue its crucial work.
