About ProtectLiB
ProtectLiB ist ein technologiegetriebenes Spin-Off der Universität Graz der hoch-motivierten Gründer Jürgen Abraham, Tobias Kopp und Chris Pichler. ProtectLiB setzt eine nachhaltige Kreislaufwirtschaft in der europäischen Batteriewertschöpfungskette für Lithium-Ionen-Batterien (LIB) mittels eines neuen Recyclingverfahrens um. LIB spielen eine immer wichtiger werdende Rolle. Die Lösung besteht aus einer Maschine zum sicheren Zerkleinern der Batterien, einer mechanisch/physikalischen Separierung der Bestandteile und einer chemischen Nachbehandlung mittels Abwässer/Säuren zum Auswaschen der einzelnen Bestandteile. Die benötigte Energie kommt dabei aus den Überschüssen anderer Vorgänge. Damit senkt ProtectLiB den Verbrauch an Ressourcen und ermöglicht, bereits verwendete Rohstoffe erneut einzusetzen.
