About Proterra Energy

Proterra Energy works across Scotland designing, installing and servicing renewable energy systems both on and off grid. We work with a Hydro, Solar and Wind renewable systems as well as battery storage and diesel backup generators to balance performance and cost and create systems suited to our Clients requirements. Our installations span with the length and breadth of Scotland, often in remote locations, bringing renewable energy to new places. We have been working with off grid systems since 2013 and battery storage has been a big part of those installations. We are now taking Offgrid - On grid! With our knowledge and experience we are helping customers use modern battery systems alongside renewable generation to offset their energy consumption and in so doing them helping on their journeys towards Net Zero. Recent projects have involved helping distilleries to manage their energy usage and to add renewable generation to their sites to offset consumption from the grid, and where possible, to offset the use of fossil fuels in their process systems.
