About Protium Technologies
Protium Technologies is a UK and UAE startup company mainly focusing on sustainable green energy for the future and the meaningful use of hydrogen. We are currently developing the world's first (net-zero emission) BioHydrogen powertrain concept for aviation and hard to decarbonise transportation segment in the UK through a novel enzymatic biohydrogen production pathway that can potentially generate a high yield of biohydrogen from a lightweight waste substrate achieving a theoretical gravimetric ratio of %15.32 at normal ambient conditions. We are also developing a novel sustainable wastewater treatment system in the UAE in collaboration with SRTIP (Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park) and the AUS (American University of Sharjah) to utilize renewable energies and green hydrogen in solving the RO reject wastewater challenge, paving the way for a sustainable wastewater recycling system. In addition to our R&D work, we are aiming to be a significant player in the hydrogen economy, hence we’ve launched a commercial division as we intend to become a one-stop-shop for all hydrogen related products and projects, by introducing system integration solutions, obtaining products distribution rights for certain territories and provide consultancy services. Protium Technologies have been appointed as Nitto’s DX tapes distributor in the UK and the Middle East region. Nitto DX tapes series consist of: Hydrogen detection tapes, Ammonia Detection tapes and CO2 detection tapes.
