Proto takes a fresh and innovative approach to the way we work: ABORIGINAL CONTRACTING We look for every opportunity to support businesses in the communities we work. In particular, we have worked extensively with Aboriginal Contractors with tendering, implementation and general management assistance. Our strong relationships with these contractors ensures we offer their services seamlessly into the Projects we work on. We then follow up with ongoing support to ensure implementation success and sustainable opportunities wherever possible. We can also assist projects by maximising local and Aboriginal contractor content by developing effective contracting strategies. INNOVATION Proto’s design service takes advantage of advanced solid modelling and engineering. We can rapidly turn around in-house 3D printed protoypes for design verification, testing, visualisation and HAZAN / HAZOP workshops. This highly innovative technology significantly reduces the conventional design process timeframe and improves design outcomes. Likewise we are working on opportunities to assist fabrication, utilising emerging additive manufacturing techniques. SAFETY INTEGRATION Safety is not just a core value. It is in our core. We are proud to be a part of WABA Safety, a jointly owned Aboriginal safety business which provides a range of safety services for a diverse group of clients. This means Proto can integrate safety personnel at any project stage from design to implementation. WABA is also one of the many ways in which Proto supports Pilbara Aboriginal Businesses.
