Prototype 237 is an experiment in creative co-living and performance within 12,000ft2 of a former garment warehouse on the Passaic River in Paterson, NJ. Built and run by its 12 resident artists starting in 2020, Prototype is developed around an exceptional performance space and a community to nurture the creation and performance of emerging interactive, collaborative and improvisational art.
