About Providence Retreat

Providence Retreat is a 12-step, spiritually-based rehabilitation facility for men seeking recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism. Our simple, time tested approach for recovery is grounded and centered in the 12 step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Providence Retreat is not affiliated with AA, however we believe the AA principles for living, when translated in a simple, thorough, and compassionate way offers the sufferer the best possible chance for long-term recovery. Drawing from our many years of personal experiences of sober living, the staff at Providence has one common goal, to create a solid foundation for future living. Though our effective approach for recovery is simple and consistent, we treat each person as a unique individual. We carefully consider each person's background and life experiences as we walk them through each phase of treatment. In addition, our staff will also share their many years of personal life experiences by teaching people new and effective ways at handling the challenges and stresses of daily living. Providence Retreat does not believe that relapse is a requirement for recovery. Instead our experience has shown us that when the 12 step way of life is presented in a simple, loving and respectful way, those suffering from drug addiction and alcoholism will experience new hope and a full recovery. The only requirement from the individual wanting to get well is effort and Willingness.
