About Proyecto ANNi

Proyecto ANNi was created with the mission to develop digital tools that: - help prevent eating disorders; - support the work of multidisciplinary treatment teams; and - assist families facing anorexia and/or bulimia in one of their members. We have developed a two-part system composed of ANNiWear (compatible with Samsung S5 or higher) and ANNiP, a parental control app. These connected applications collect, analyze, and report key physiological and behavioral data, triggering early alerts when irregularities or signs of risk are detected. The system enables parents and caregivers to monitor, track, and receive alerts related to risky eating behaviors and other general health indicators in children, adolescents, and young adults. The analysis results are not accessible to minors; only parents and authorized healthcare professionals (with parental consent) can view them. We are confident that ANNi can become a highly valuable complementary tool in the outpatient follow-up of individuals with eating disorders, especially beyond the clinical setting. ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: ANNi is not intended to provide medical diagnoses or to replace the role of healthcare professionals, clinical tests, or medical services.
