About PTI Industries

PTI was founded over thirty five years ago as a provider of non-destructive testing services to machine shops serving the aerospace, power generation, and medical industries. Over the years, the number of support processes we provide has grown and we have added new processes in response to customer requests. Our customers have come to realize that they can benefit from our diverse array of integrated processes because it enables them to reduce the number of purchase orders they generate and the number of trips in and out of their plant, resulting in savings of both time and money. As our business expanded so did our need for more processing space. In 2005 we moved into our present 33,500 square foot facility which we designed specifically to meet our product flow requirements to maximize throughput. This facility now offers numerous services including: non-destructive testing, magnesium coatings, passivation, and precision cleaning. To accommodate our continually increasing customer demand, at the end of 2008 we purchased a second building 1 ½ miles from our current facility. The 38,000 square foot acquisition is in full operation and offers adhesive bonding, dry film lubricant, and pressure testing. Conveniently located just a few miles from Interstate 91, we are midway between Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts. By car we are just fifteen minutes away from Bradley International Airport. Our plant is on well-established UPS and FED EX routes and in the event we need to make a last minute shipment both have terminal counters within a fifteen minute drive time. PTI is NADCAP certified, ITAR registered, FAA and EASA approved, and hold hundreds of qualifications for over forty OEMs.
